Fila currently has an opportunity for a Social Media Specialist located in our New York Office. The position responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Monitor and respond to day-to-day communications on social networks including Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, You Tube

* Establish relationships with key bloggers and strategize to build an online following of Fila customers

* Use social media sites to promote the brand in conjunction with current Marketing initiatives

* Research and provide recommendations to Marketing management of the latest social media platforms, tools and other services

* Maintain and track all social media network communication to provide feedback and data to Marketing management

* Responsible for developing and producing content (stories, imagery, video, etc) for Fila’s social network

* Be a key liaison between Fila’s social media agency of record and internal team to ensure social media communication is on consistent with brand goals/direction

* Manage partnerships with health and fitness bloggers who will become brand evangelists as well as develop and execute a schedule of supplemental on-line content for Fila’s social network to increase brand awareness on-line through each blogger’s network.

* Work within marketing on other initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

* Bachelors Degree in related field

* 1-3 years experience

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Excellent organizational skills

* Sense of urgency to respond in a timely manner as established by the company

* Familiarity with Mac Operating Systems, Adobe CS and Final Cut Pro or similar platform for video creation
